How I Work
I work with warmth, compassion and equity to create space for you to explore and release a full range of feelings and experiences. My role as a counsellor is to be alongside you, creating a supported therapeutic space.
My work as a Therapeutic Counsellor is rewarding and enriching. I find it brings the privilege of working alongside others as they challenge themselves in their personal development and/or reach out for support while they work through and release emotions and feelings.
I came into therapeutic work after experiencing therapy myself
helped me to change what I could, release feelings and emotions, manage living with chronic ill health and live alongside many challenges.
Free parent/carer consultations of 15 minutes are a good first step in deciding if you want to proceed in booking your child some counselling with me. Your child can meet me to see how they feel about working with me if they feel that will help them to reach a decision. It is important that a child or young person wants to give counselling a go. Often it is worth having one or two full sessions and making a decision from there.
If you feel a longer consultation session will be helpful let me know, my usual telephone charges will apply.
